The virtual Db2 conference is coming up |
IDUG Db2 Tech Conferences
IDUG, the International Db2 User Group, is an independent, non-profit organization. It aims to bring (not just) Db2 users together and to strengthen the information services community. It is user-run, maintains a network of regional user groups (RUGs) and provides high-quality education. As such, it organizes international Db2 Tech Conferences.
Upcoming EMEA Conference
Originally planned for Edinburgh, Scotland, in October, the conference for the mostly European audience has been made virtual and moved to early December. It now runs from Monday, December 6th, to Friday, December 10th, with additional workshops the week after. Check out the updated conference agenda.
- It will have six (6) tracks in parallel dedicated to Db2 for z/OS, Db2 for LUW, application development and analytics topics.
- On Thursday, December 9th, the conference even has two additional tracks with "new news" for Db2 for z/OS and Db2 for LUW.
- The conference features many Db2 user (customer) speakers who share their experience from Db2 in production. Moreover, business partners and consultants, including IBM Gold Consultants and IBM Champions, are going to share their wisdom. Plus, here the latest from the Db2 development labs and IBM speakers.
- Even though it is a virtual conference, there will be opportunity for discussion and exchange during the sessions and for the entire conference.
- Attendees with a paid registration can request a code for complimentary certification, check out the details.
- There will be a virtual expo, likely with your favorite "passport to prizes" again. I don't have details on that yet.
It's not too late to register for the conference. Check the website for discount options.
