- If not done so, I strongly recommend to read about the new features in the IBM Cloud Identity & Access Management (IAM). It is now possible to use special service IDs. Using personal IDs is no longer needed. There are also changes in managing access by granting roles and how API keys can be used. Read it, and more importantly, try it out.
- I am a user of the IBM Watson cognitive services of Bluemix and have several service instances in the Frankfurt, Germany, data center. Great to see security enhancements, especially for EU citizens, for some Watson cognitive services. Have you deployed services to Frankfurt?
- One of my latest blog posts was about securing apps by using the Application Security service. It is able performs dynamic and static code scans. Thus, I found this recent blog post interesting. It details how to use a private, on-premises Git repository for source code management together with the IBM Cloud-based DevOps services. This way on-prem security scans, code analysis and other methods can be applied to improve code quality and security.
