- My team once again looked back at 2019 and technologies we worked on, new and updated IBM Cloud solution tutorials and what we look forward to. Expect all the latest buzz from automation (terraform, IBM Cloud Schematis) to zLinux (Hyper Protect Crypto Services).
- The tutorial on how to build a database-driven Slackbot (featuring Watson Assistant, Cloud Functions and Db2) got an overhaul. It uses Watson Assistant webhooks now and has simplified setup instructions.
- If you are a German-speaking Db2 enthusiast, consider to register (and show up) for the next German Db2 User Group (DeDUG) meeting. It is on Friday, 24.01.2020, and hosted by Fiducia & GAD IT AG in Karlsruhe. It includes an optional tour of their control room which requires an additional registration.
- Speaking of Db2, the call for presentations for the IDUG 2020 EMEA Tech Conference in Edinburgh is open until early March. Use the holidays to think about a presentation to submit. It is fun. And if you want to attend without presenting, the loyality discount is available until Christmas.
- IBM put out some blogs and news to point out security certifications for and client wins in regulated industries such as banking and healthcare.
Henrik's thoughts on life in IT, data and information management, cloud computing, cognitive computing, covering IBM Db2, IBM Cloud, Watson, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure and more.
